Plans

MetaMagican is operated by John Smith Kristiansen under the JSK Consulting brand. Core metadata generation is free to use. Pro unlocks the full studio suite, downloads, batch processing, and advanced analyses.

Payments

Payments are securely processed through Paddle, our merchant of record. Charges may appear on your statement as Paddle or MetaMagican via Paddle. Paddle handles VAT and sales tax collection where applicable based on your billing address.

Renewals

Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period using the payment method on file. You will receive an emailed receipt for every successful charge.

Invoices & receipts

Pro members receive an emailed receipt for every charge and can view invoices from the account dashboard.

Updating your payment method

Update your card or billing details from the Paddle customer portal, accessible from your account. Changes apply immediately to the next renewal.

Failed payments

If a renewal fails, Paddle automatically retries the charge over several days and notifies you by email. Your Pro access remains available during this grace window. If all retries fail, the subscription is cancelled and the account returns to the free plan — no data is deleted.

Cancellation & refunds

Cancel anytime from your account. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, with no forced lockouts. New Pro subscribers are also covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee — see our Refund Policy for the full terms.

Downgrades

Downgrading to the free plan takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Pro features deactivate at that point, and any unused Pro credits expire with the subscription.

Credits

Credits power individual analyses and generations and are tied to your active subscription period. Consumed credits are non-refundable. Unused credits remain available until the period ends.
