Our principles

MetaMagican is operated by John Smith Kristiansen under the JSK Consulting brand. This policy explains how the platform handles your data.

• Temporary processing. Uploaded audio is processed in memory and discarded after analysis. We do not permanently store your audio files unless a feature explicitly says otherwise.
• Your music stays yours. We claim no ownership over uploaded content. You retain all rights.
• No data selling. We never sell your data to third parties.
• Minimum data. We collect only what is needed to run the service.

What we process

Audio you upload or links you paste are sent to our generation pipeline and to the AI providers required to extract metadata. Audio is not retained after processing. Generated metadata and analysis results may be retained in your account so you can revisit and export them.

Account data

If you create an account we store your email, language preferences, and subscription status. You can request export or deletion at any time by emailing us.

Payments

Payments are securely processed by Paddle, our payment provider and merchant of record. Paddle receives the billing details you provide at checkout (name, email, billing address, payment method) to process your subscription and handle tax compliance. We receive subscription status and invoice metadata back — not your full payment details.

Analytics & cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies for authentication and to remember your language preference, plus privacy-respecting product analytics to understand aggregate usage. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used.

Subprocessors

We work with infrastructure, AI, and payment providers strictly to deliver the service. A current list is available on request.

Your rights
